The Hearts Of Oak defender, Mohammed Alhassan says players will stay in the Ghana Premier League if they earn at least GHc5000 monthly.
Mohammed Alhassan helps his club Hearts Of Oak to beat Bechem United to lift their 12th Ghana FA Cup title.
The Hearts of Oak deputy captain believes footballers leave the country to ply their trade in foreign countries due to money. And think that, they will stay in the Ghana Premier League if they earn GHc5000 and beyond monthly.
“Let’s be honest to ourselves, if a Ghana Premier League player earns GHC5000 monthly, no player will leave the country. Because of the suffering we go through, a typical Ghanaian player will be able to spend GHC2000 and save GHC3000 and that can do a lot” He told Angel FM.
